    A. Spamwize works on all operating systems that can run standard email programs.
These include Windows 98/ME/2000/XP, MacOS, Linux and many more.

    A. Spamwize works on Eudora, Outlook, Outlook Express, Netscape, Incredimail,
and any other email program that supports the POP3 protocol.

    A. Yes, Spamwize will work with any web based email accounts that use the POP3 protocol.

Q. How many POP account will Spamwize check?
    A. Spamwize will check upto 5 POP accounts

Q. If Spamwize leaves all my email on my POP server, won't I run out of space?
    A. Unlike other systems out there which give you limited disk space, Spamwize gives you total control of your email by leaving all quarantined emails on your POP3 server. Only quarantined emails stay on your pop3 server, all other verified email is delivered to you immediately. There is also a 7 day window, after which time quarantined emails are deleted off the pop3 server automatically (so your account does not fill up).

Q. How does Spamwize work?
    A. Spamwize functions as a firewall for your email.
We use our patent pending technology to keep the spam out, and you enjoy a spam free inbox.

            1. An email destined for you arrives at the Spamwize server.
            2. Spamwize checks several criteria to determine if the sender of the email is approved to send you email.
If they are approved, the email is placed in your inbox.
If they are blocked, the email is rejected.
If this is their first email to you, we ask them to verify their account.
Upon successful verification, the message is placed in your inbox.
Otherwise, the mail will be placed in your unverified folder, which you can view on our website at any time.
            3. You check your email from our servers. What a relief, no spam!

Q. What is the verification process?
    A. When a new sender emails you, we hold that email and reply with a verification request.
This request states who you are and that you are protecting yourself from junk email.
It asks the sender to reply to the verification email.
As soon as they do, they are verified and their email goes right through to your inbox.
They only need to verify once. You may also authorize (verify) whomever you wish on the site, or block people.
Please check the Unverified Mail and Manage Senders pages in the members section.

    A. Yes! Using our unique "FromKeys" system people you write to can be automatically whitelisted when they reply.

Q. Does Spamwize work with mailing lists?
    A. Yes! Most mailing lists work by sending a message to a certain address, for example, mygroup@yahoogroups.com.
Simply add that address to your approved mailing lists and you will receive all of the mailing list messages,
without requiring verification from the individual list members.

Q. If I am part of a mailing list, won't this cause a lot of inconvenience?
    A. Spamwize is designed to work efficiently with mailing lists.
You will find more details in the Spamwize support pages

Q. Does Spamwize work with automated emails?
    A. Yes! You can explicitly approve (and block) senders in the members section. If you receive an email from an
automated address (like orders@amazon.com), simply approve it once, and all future emails from that address
will automatically be passed through to your inbox.

Q. Can I authorize a whole domain?
    A. Yes! Spamwize supports wildcard authorization.
This is useful when you are emailing many different contacts within a company.

Q. What if a spammer authorizes themselves?
    A. Most spam is sent by automated programs, which are not able to complete the authorization process.
However, if you do receive email from a sender from whom you do not wish to receive email,
you may simply block them explicitly.

Q. What are POP settings and how do I find mine?
    A. Your POP server is the Incoming mail server you download your email from.
Your POP settings are the pieces of information your email program uses to connect to this server.
There is information on our Support page to help you find your POP settings, you can contact our support for help,
or call your ISP and ask them for your POP server settings.

Q. Isn't there a risk of upsetting friends by making them seek permission to email me?
    A. Most people today are aware of the problems of spam and recognize the need to do something to protect
electronic communications.  In fact, we have found that most of your friends will think Spamwize
is a great idea and probably install it themselves.

Q. Why didn't I receive the email I sent to myself?
    A. Sending emails that appear to be from your own email address is a very common technique used by spammers.
To protect you from spam, we do not allow mail from your own address into your inbox.
However, if you have an alternative email address, you may send yourself messages from there.
You may override this feature in the Admin area of the Members section.

Q. How can I become a Spamwize affiliate?
    A. Spamwize offers a generous compensation to its affiliates. You'll not only earn commission on direct referrals,
